Dogs recommended to be over 6 months. Surgeries can be done earlier. Not earlier than 3 months so rabies vaccines can be given. Cats aged at 3 months are about 3 pounds in weight. Cats can come into heat while lactating so recommend to spay mothers while kittens are 4 weeks. Cats will produce milk about 2 weeks after being spayed. By then the kittens can be weaned. It is ideal to have females 8-9 weeks after the heat cycles. It can reduce risks of pyometra. Though females can be spayed while in heat. It is important if this is done that females are kept away from all other animals. Females spayed while in heat should be checked daily for discharge. Please keep females and males separated. Males will still try to breed recently spayed females in heat.

  • There is a 100 pound weight limit for pets but there are limited spaces for larger pets.
  • No dogs under 10 pounds
  • All male dogs need to be checked to make sure both testicles are present.  Cryptorchid (only one testes dropped) males will not be done through the clinics.  Please check before making surgery appointments
  • Brachycephalic pets will not be done through the clinic. These are animals with a very short muzzle. There is a picture of some breeds on the page. You can also text a picture of your pets if concerned.
  • For the safety of all pets, staff, and passengers, all animals must be in carriers approved for animal transport. Only ONE pet is allowed per carrier to ensure adequate space, ventilation, and reduce the risk of injury or stress. Animals that are too large to fit in a carrier must be leashed and remain under control at all times.
  • We do ask that flea and tick is applied to pets before surgery. It can be picked at the Vet clinic before your surgery date. Under anesthesia ticks and fleas will jump ship onto your pet or staff.
  • No pets over 10 years of age. Only clinically healthy pets will have surgery through the clinic. Pets with chronic conditions will be rejected.

Animals need to be socialized. If staff feel the pet is too aggressive and cannot be handled safely the pet will be declined services. This pet will not qualify for future clinics. Deposit will not be refunded for unsafe pets.

Rabies vaccine will be given unless previous rabies certification from a vet can be produced. Other core vaccinations can be declined by pet’s owner.
