Welcome to Highway 7 Spay and Neuter!
At Highway 7 Spay and Neuter, we are a nonprofit that helps facilitate low-cost spay and neuter opportunities for the community. We rely on donations, grants, and support from the community to reduce the cost of spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats. Services are offered to rescues, shelters, and pet owners. We have a goal of starting a food pantry to assist in keeping pets at home and reduce the need to release ownership to shelters. We offer 2 programs: a Spay Neuter Clinic for everyone willing to drive to us and a grant for Arkansas residents offered throughout the year.
Meet the President/Our Backstory
Regina Wilkerson (She/Her/Hers) serves as the President of Highway 7 Spay and Neuter. With a lifelong passion for animals and veterinary medicine, Regina’s journey began at Berry College, where she completed her undergraduate degree. She then pursued her veterinary degree at St. George’s University, finishing her final clinical year in Ireland. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Regina relocated to Harrison in search of a veterinary position. She quickly fell in love with the area, appreciating its perfect balance of town and country life, and enjoying outdoor adventures like hiking and kayaking with her poodle mix, Fred—who, as long as the kayak stays upright, loves every moment on the water.
